The Story Behind Toast the Coast
Toast The Coast didn’t start as just a business idea. It started from real life. I’ve been the working mom juggling long hours, tight schedules, and the constant feeling of missing out on moments that matter. The traditional “9 to 5” can ask a lot of you, and for me, it often felt like life had to come second to work. That never sat right.
Long before Toast The Coast existed, bartending was already a big part of my story.
I spent over 10 years as a certified bartender, working everything from high-energy restaurant shifts at Bennigan’s to charity events with Outback Steakhouse, catering gigs, and some of the busiest St. Patrick’s Day weekends you can imagine. I’ve worked private parties, community events, and even hosted my own backyard gatherings, learning firsthand how much the right bartender can shape an entire experience. Bartending, to me, has always been more than just serving drinks. It’s about creating a vibe, reading the room, connecting with people, and making moments memorable. So when I found myself wanting more flexibility and a better balance for my life, I didn’t want to walk away from that world. I wanted to rebuild it in a way that made sense.
That’s where Toast The Coast was born.
I built this company to create something different. A space where professionalism and fun go hand in hand. Where flexibility isn’t just a perk, it’s the foundation. Where people can show up, do what they love, and still have time for their families, their goals, and themselves. I’m proud to say I’m not doing it alone. The team is made up of experienced bartenders who are actively working in the industry across Southern Maryland. This is a group of skilled, passionate professionals who know how to deliver an elevated experience at every event.
